This October scene depicts an annual Fall ritual at Wagner Farm. The harvesting of the farms pumpkins and squash just in time for the fall holidays. This wagon load of pumpkins and squash are for sale at the farms roadside stand.
Farms abound in Americas heartland and nothing beats the thrill of visiting one of these farms and watching the children look for just that perfect pumpkin to carve into a jack-o-lantern. The month of October brings many people out to Wagner Farm, but make no mistake about it, it is the kids who are doing the shopping.
The artist hopes this Oil painting brings back some of those fond memories from your childhood or perhaps from a time when you took your children to the farm in search for that perfect pumpkin.

Svetlana Jenkins is from Volgograd, Russia. By education she is both an Artist and a Chemical Engineer, but it is her artistic career that she enjoys most. Watching her father paint, she became interested in art at a very early age. She is passionate about having her art communicate a story and demonstrates this with a focus on details in her portraits, still life’s, building architecture, and scenic landscapes.
