One of the easiest marketing tools for an artist is to use their own art and have cards printed featuring one or more of their most popular pieces. These cards can be custom made to announce an Art Show, Gallery exposition, or some other event where the artist has their art on display. Mail them out to your patrons, family, and friends inviting them to the event. They also make nice seasonal greeting cards to patrons, family, and friends. It is just another way to keep your art in front of the public. My husband even uses these cards to send holiday greetings to his clients and employees.
